Pete Moosbrugger- Head Varsity Lacrosse Coach


Jason King- Associate Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator
Jason was a two-year captain at UST, where he received several honors including, three- time All-Upper Midwest for the University of St. Thomas and captain of the 2009 MCLA National Champions, Minnesota’s first collegiate Lacrosse National Champion.

Jason’s career as a lacrosse player began 10 years ago, with the beginning of the Mahtomedi Lacrosse Club. Jason’s High School Lacrosse accomplishments include; captain of the Mahtomedi lacrosse club in 2006, four year all-conference, three time All-State recipient, and possession of both the career scoring record and career points record at Mahtomedi.

Tony Vadnais – Assistant Varsity Coach/Head Junior Varsity
Anthony graduated from Mahtomedi in 2004 where he played 3 years of varsity lacrosse and was a captain his senior year. He continued his lacrosse career in college playing for Minnesota State University Moorhead. Currently Tony lives, works, and coaches in the Zephyr community, and is excited about the opportunity to continue teaching the game to the varsity athletes in Mahtomedi.

Jake Helmer– Assistant Junior Varsity Coach
Jake joined the Mahtomedi coaching staff in 2015. He coaches the Junior Varsity offense and works with the midfield unit on Varsity. Jake played high school lacrosse for Mahtomedi and competed collegiately for Saint John's University, graduating from SJU.
