Beginners Brief on Girls Lacrosse: comparing Girls and Boys Lacrosse

DOWNLOAD the brief Comparing Girls and Boys Lacrosse: What's the big difference?

Girls and boys lacrosse are very different sports, in formation, rules, and fundamental play.  Certainly there are many similarities and many of the critical success factors are the same - ground ball control, accurate passing, cutting and shooting.  But how this is accomplished within the rules is different.

This note attempts to identify some of the basic differences between the games, and this is written primarily for the person familiar with boys lacrosse as more of a comparison.   It is not intended to be comprehensive of all the differences, nuances and specific details of the respective games.

A simple matrix is included at the end to illustrate a side by side comparison that captures some of this same information.
