The objective of Peabody Youth Hockey is to provide to the youth of Peabody the opportunity to learn and play the sport of ice hockey in a safe and controlled environment consistent with the existing USA and MASS Hockey Guidelines.

PEABODY YOUTH HOCKEY

2018 / 2019

LEARN TO SKATE & WHACK A PUCK PROGRAMS

Sundays: 5:50 P.M. - 6:40 P.M.

McVann-O'Keefe Rink - 511 Lowell Str. Peabody

Session 1: October 14, 2018 through December 16, 2018.

(10 weeks)

Session 2: January 6, 2019 through March 10, 2019. 

(10 weeks)

Learn To Skate Program

Cost:  $75.00

Requirements: Age 3 or older 

Equipment Required: Skates, helmet with cage, gloves (not CLOTH)

     elbow & knee pads are strongly recommended.

Description:  This program is designed for children with (1) year or less skating experience.   

 

Whack A Puck Program

Cost:  $150.00

Requirements: Age 4 or older and at least (1) year of skating experience.

Equipment Required:  Full hockey gear (skates, helmet with cage, elbow, shin and chest pads,

     hockey gloves and a hockey stick.  Team jersey and socks provided.

Description:  30 minutes skills (agility, stick-handling, shooting and passing) followed by

     20 minutes of cross ice game simulation.

Participants of BOTH programs MUST register with USA Hockey at

www.usahockey/registration.com.

USA Hockey registration has an additional fee for skaters age 7 and older.
