10u B Teams

The 10u B teams are Select teams.

The teams practice twice a week during the week, one shared full ice practice at Kirkland and one small ice practice at Renton. There is usually at least one session of dry-land training before or after those practices.

On weekends the teams will have typically have two ice sessions.  Those may consist of a practice and a game or 2 games.
on the weekends, Saturday morning and Saturday evening or Sunday Morning and Sunday afternoon.  When playing away games they typically play Saturday afternoon/evening and Sunday morning.
They alternate between home and away weekends.
 
These teams play in the Washington State PNAHA league.  Most of the teams are located in the Seattle area but there are also teams from Wenatchee, Tri-Cities, Vancouver, Bremerton and Spokane so some overnight travel is required.

These teams compete in the PNAHA State 10u Festival at the end of the season. The Festival usually has 2 or 3 divisions (Gold, Silver and Bronze) and teams are placed in divisions based upon the standings in league play.
 
Tryouts are free for Sno-King registered players and all are encouraged to come out to see where they stack up to their peers.
 
How much does it cost to play on these teams?
In addition to association program fees and obligations team member families can anticipate to pay for the following:
Expenses include but are not limited to:
Hotels
Transportation: Bus and Airfares
Tournaments
Coaches stipends
Additional practice ice
Team apparel / bags
 
Typically the coaches will have a rough budget available at the tryouts.
 
Players are expected to wear equipment with the same color as their teammates.
Pants / Shells: Navy Blue
Helmet: Navy Blue
Gloves: Dark Blue or Black
 

These teams are typically coached by parent volunteers. We are always on the look out for coaches that have an understanding of the game and can help our players develop a passion for the game.
