The FYF season begins with open registration in May-July. Cheerleaders are placed on squads and the rosters are released to coaches by the end of July. If you do not hear from a coach by July 23rd please contact me at
. Our season runs from the end of July -Mid November.
Practice days and times will be determined by the head coach. Practices normally begin around 6:00pm and end around 7/7:30pm. Generally cheer squads practice twice a week but are allowed to practice up to 4 days a week prior to school starting and a maxiumum of 3 days once school starts.
Uniforms: Cheerleaders are expected to purchase a uniform (unless they have one from last year that still fits). Uniforms and re to be purchased through our team store http://coachsassistant.gtmsportswear.com/fauquiercheer?lockerid=47818 . You are required to purchase the shell, skirt and bloomers. The cost for these items is $75. Besides the uniform, you are also to purchase white sneakers (which can be purchased from our league store or anywhere else you choose). Uniform fittings will be held on June 20th, July 2nd and July 12th from 6-7:30 at our equipment shed in vint hill if you would like to try one on before ordering to ensure a proper fit.
