VOLUNTEER COACHES REQUIRED
Potomac Field Hockey is a community based, volunteer-led program. In order to keep PFH thriving, it is important that we have parents and community members volunteer their time to help provide children a positive and fun environment to develop field hockey skills.
Often times we are faced with the problem of having more kids register than we have teams with coaches. We MUST have volunteers to continue to provide opportunities for our players to play. PLEASE consider volunteering your time to be a coach, assistant coach, or co-coach (with another parent or two)
We would be honored to have you join the PFH family. Our mission is to provide an environment where young players are guided and inspired to reach their full potential both on and off the field. We are committed to providing our community with a model of quality youth development, education, and inspiration through field hockey.
As a parent, you already know it takes all of us working together to help our children reach their full potential. We encourage all of our parents to get involved and volunteer to help out throughout the season.
Volunteer Coaches lead one team practice per week. PreK-K practices once a week and scrimmages during their practice. First and second grade players also have games on Saturdays. No prior hockey experience is necessary! We can provide training, guidance, resources, and practice plans. We LOVE hockey and promise to provide you the assitance you need while growing and learning as a coach.
Register to coach when you register your child for our programs!
