Ron has been with the Predators from the start. He has been involved in hockey for more than 35yrs as a player, coach, and referee. He has been coaching youth hockey boys and girls for the past 15 yrs. winning District Championships in Mass as well as a Tier 1 State Championship in NH. His focus is on team play which evident in the way his team plays for him. He is committed to the Predators organization for the foreseeable future, as Ron is not only a coach, but the General Manager and Referee in Chief for the Predators.
Midget U15 Full Season
Mike Bowdridge grew up in Malden MA playing for Malden Youth Hockey from mites thru midgets also played for the original North Suburban Wings. He played four years varsity hockey at Northeast Regional in Wakefield MA and was Captain Sr. year and was selected senior year as the leagues best defenseman. He also played college hockey and baseball at Franklin Pierce College in Rindge, NH from 1995 to 1997 before leaving to play Jr. A hockey in the Maritime Jr. Hockey League for the Restgouche River Rats in Campbellton, New Brunswick from 1997 to 1998.
Mike was the Assistant Coach of the Northeast Regional from 1998 to 2000. He was head Coach and Assistant GM for The Boston Jr Blackhawks, Super Elite team of the IJHL winning a national championship in 1999 and was responsible for for player development. Mike coached the North Shore Shamrocks from 2014 to present at the Peewee level making it to the EHF Tier 1 level Championship in 2014 & 2015 and he has also coached various summer programs throughout MA and NH in Elite level tournaments.
Scott Crowther is the President and founder of the New England Predators, LLC which levels consist of Mites, Pee Wees, Squirts, Bantams, JV & High School. Scott played youth hockey for Somerville Youth Hockey from Mites to Midgets. He played Varsity hockey and then moved onto Junior A hockey. From Junior A's he pursued a career in the minors for the Virginia Lancers the Atlantic Coast Hockey League from 1985 - 1986. He has been coaching for 20 years, instructing and enhancing skating skills of hundreds of youth players from the New England area.

Jim grew up playing hockey in Everett MA and has been involved in hockey his entire life, both as a player and a coach. He has coached at the Mite, Squirt, Peewee and Bantam levels for the past 10 years. He is a USA Hockey Level 4 certified coach. Jim also played hockey competitively both in high school for Malden Catholic and in college for UConn. He emphasizes the team concept and concentrates on skill development creating a positive and fun environment for every player. Jim motivates his players to work hard and excel all while having fun. He believes the players will develop quicker and perform better with positive reinforcement. He not only works on individual skills and team development but also teaches each player how to play the game of hockey. It is important for the players to have a good understanding of how the game is supposed to be played as well as how to support and depend on your teammates. Although it is important to develop each players individual skills, it is as important to understand the game and learn to play as a team. Jim is all about the kids and in the end, his main objective is to help each player become not only a better hockey player but a better student and young person as well.
Jeff Becker is originally from Maple Grove, MN and has been involved with hockey for 35 years as a player from youth ranks to high school and a college career cut short by injury. Jeff has enjoyed coaching in the youth ranks and has a philosophy that the game should be fun while developing skills and good sportsmanship. His approach to coaching is skill development in order to enhance game performance. Team success is measured by all members having fun while while developing player performance with winning as a desired outcome.
Scott Crowther Jr.
Scott returns on as a non-parent coach for the 2017-2018 season in a Co-Head coach capacity with with 2007 Premier team. Previously, Scott coached our Bantam Minor 99 premier team compiling a record of 54-12-3 and our '06 Mite team with a 51-7-1 record. Last season he was a Co-Head coach with the 2007 Squirt Minor team winning the NEPHL league title. His coaching philosophy revolves around skill development, puck possession and creativity.
In addition to coaching, Scott serves as a Regional Scout with the Penticton Vees of the BCHL. The Vee's have placed 100's of players into NCAA Division 1 schools as well as current and former NHL players including Duncan Keith (Chicago Blackhawks), Paul Kariya (Anaheim Ducks) and Matt Dumba (Minnesota Wild). Recently the organization saw two players (Tyson Jost - North Dakota) and (Dante Fabro -Boston University) selected in the 1st round of the NHL draft.
Scott's playing background includes: Junior Bruins, Springfield Falcons (EJHL) and Phoenix Polar Bears (WSHL) as a 2 time Thorne Cup champion and Defensive MVP. Scott played high school hockey at Salem High School in NH Division 1, where he compiled an overall record of 51-14-2 from his freshman through junior year. He is a 3 time NH D1 All State team 1 recipient, Lewiston Maineiac (QMJHL) protected player as well as Eagle Tribune all star. Scott saw his career end early through groin and knee injuries with Becker College (ECAC Northeast).
Coach Hanson brings with him over 18 years of coaching experience at the high school varsity level. Since 2007, he has been the head coach at St. John’s Prep varsity where he remains today. In that the time, his Prep team have reached the Super 8 title game three times and were crowned the Super 8 Champion in 2015. Prior to taking over the Prep program, Kristian spent seven seasons as the head coach at Salem High School, MA where the team captured two NEC South titles and qualified for the state tournament for the first time in the program’s history. Throughout his time at the Prep, Coach Hanson has helped develop a number of Massachusetts raised players selected in the NHL draft including; Sam Kurker (St. Louis Blues), Brian Pinho (Washington Capitals), Shane Eiserman (Ottawa Senators), Tyler Bird (Columbus Bluejackets) and Colin Blackwell (San Jose Sharks). In addition Coach Hanson has seen a number of players move on to play at the NCAA Division 1 and 3 levels. Prior to his coaching career, Kristian played at St. Johns Prep before moving to Hockey East staple, UNH where he played his college hockey under legendary head coach Dick Umile.
Stanley (Michael) Marcinkowski, native of Chicago IL has has an extensive hockey background with over 35+ years of hockey experience as a player ranging from youth/junior and collegiate levels. Mike passionately still contributes to the game of hockey coaching youth hockey (girls and boys) at assorted levels (U8-U19) for over 10+ years. Mike has 3 children that play select hockey including his son William for the predators and two girls Olivia and Isabella at outside organizations. Mike loves working with the younger age groups as its very rewarding to see at the end of every season the development and progress each player makes. Mike's focus is on individual player development and team play and winning with the players to drive success. Mike is committed to the Predators organization for the foreseeable future, and looks forward to growing each year with the organization.
This will be Mike's 2nd year with the predators and hope to follow up the same path and projection from last season after winning the North Shore Hockey League Championship out of the Mass Bay Hockey Center.
Coach King grew up in New Jersey and played prep school hockey and lacrosse at The Lawrenceville School. Michael played college hockey and lacrosse at Division III Colby College in Maine, where he was the captain of the lacrosse team. Coach King has been a prep school teacher, dormitory parent, and coach for over twenty years. Michael was the assistant varsity hockey coach at Brewster Academy (NH), head JV hockey coach at Choate Rosemary Hall (CT), and is currently coaching lacrosse at The Governor’s Academy (MA) where he is the Chairman of the Mathematics Department. Coach King runs a boys ninth grade dormitory at the Academy and has two sons in the Predators program.
