The Souderton Area Girl's Lacrosse Association (SAGLA) is an independent, non-profit organization that offers both Community and Travel Lacrosse Programs for girls in 3rd through 8th grades.

SAGLA 5/6 and 7/8 Level Lacrosse Program Information

SAGLA is member of the the Tri-County Region (TCLL) of PAGLA (the Philadelphia Area Girls’ Lacrosse Association).  PAGLA is a member of US Lacrosse.

The SAGLA 5/6B, 7/8B  and 5/6C Lacrosse Program welcomes 5th - 8th grade girls.  The "B" and "C" teams will play games against teams within the Tri-County and other PAGLA regions.   The team structure is as follows:

  • Sparks 5/6A and 7/8A:  
    • Competitive (tryouts used to determine rosters)
  • 5/6B and 7/8B: 
    • Players with some LAX experience
  • 5/6C:  
    • Beginner/no LAX experience

The "B" and "C" Program typically runs from March through the end of May with practices two nights a week and games on weekends.  no lacrosse experience is required!  The number of "B" and "C" teams is dependent on the number of girls that have registered for the season along with the number of girls with little or no lacrosse experience.  The "B" and "C"  teams also participate in local Play Days and Tournaments including SAGLA's own Play Day.  In addition the "B" and "C" Program participates in SAGLA High School Night and SAGLA Fun Night.  

US Lacrosse membership is not required in order to participate in the SAGLA "B" and "C" Lacrosse Program.
