Coach Dyson is starting his fifth year as the Hockey Director and Varsity Head Coach for Huskies Hockey. Dyson came to OPRF after a successful 7-year run with the Bartlett Wild Hawks Hockey Club.
Dyson helped transform Bartlett into a hockey powerhouse, taking the varsity team to the Blackhawk Cup Championship game in 2012 and the semifinals in 2013. He was named the Metro West Coach of the Year in 2012 and received the Lori Maly Distinguished Service Award in 2010.
"Coaching hockey at this level is about more than developing better hockey players," he said. "It's about developing better people. Over 80-percent of our kids were on the honor roll last year and we'll expect a strong commitment to academics and community service during the 2014-2015 season."
Coach Meagher is in his fifth year as Varsity Coach. Steve has been involved with hockey as either a player or coach for over 30 years. Coach Meagher spent the last 5 years as the Assistant Varsity Coach for the Bartlett Wildhawks Hockey Program, where he helped numerous players to achieve All-State and Showcase honors while also helping to lead the Wildhawks to the Combined Division's Blackhawk Cup State Championship Game in 2012 and the semi-finals in 2013.
