Special Volunteer Jobs


 
Game Announcers: (fulfills season requirements)
We will need one volunteer for each team for home games.  Volunteers will serve as the master of ceremonies and game commentator for all home games.  An “Announcer’s Handbook” will be provided.  Volunteers for this job must be a minimum of 18 years of age. 
 
Game Spotter: (fulfills season requirements)
We will need one volunteer for each squad/level.  Volunteers will assist the Game Announcer from inside the announcer’s booth for all home games.  Each game will have its own spotter.  Volunteers for this job must be a minimum of 18 years of age. 
 
Flag Game Scorekeeper: (fulfills season requirements)
We will need one volunteer for the WCMFL Flag level.  Volunteer will run the scoreboard and game clock for all home games.  This job is required for the Flag level only.  Volunteer for this job must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
 
Flag Game Referee: (fulfills season requirements)
We will need at least one volunteer for the Pioneer Flag level.  Volunteer will referee all flag games, home and away.  Referee shirt is provided.  You don’t need to be an expert on football to referee for flag games.  Volunteer for this job must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
 
Team Coordinator: (fulfills season requirements)
There will be one team coordinator assigned to each team (cheer and football).  Team coordinators provide the parents of our players and cheerleaders with the information needed for every family to participate in practices, games, scrimmages, tournaments, competitions and special events.  This will include the coordination of the families in support of Volunteer Program, Pioneer Fundraisers, Picture Day, Spirit wear, the Pioneer Family Picnic/Pep Rally, etc...
 
Newspaper/Article Writers: (fulfills season requirements)
We will need one volunteer for each team.  Volunteers will do a short write up for the all games.  The articles will be used for submission to the Democrat, for the FMF newsletter and for the FMF website.   You will be responsible for emailing your write up about the game to the “Article Coordinator” by the end of the weekend so we can make the newspaper submission deadlines.
