Staff Summary:

Kirk has been one of best and most committed Skipjacks coaches for the past 3 years.  As grade director and head coach, his grades have seen some great success these past few years and his players have all had a blast.

James Beaudoin is the current Varsity Coach at Cohasset High.  He is a great guy, a great coach, and we have been chasing him since he left Proctor to come down and coach at Cohasset.  He is one of the best coaches the south shore has to offer and we are very lucky to have him.

Summary of Objectives:

8th Grade is where the rubber meets the road.  By this point, all the kids can play lacrosse at a high level, but our coaches will push them to continue their overall development and challenge them to be better teammates and players.  Individual roles and positional responsibilities take on increased importance, as does executing game-plans and understanding what they need to do to help their team win.

It is important to note that our Skipjacks teams are an All-Inclusive program...  Not A La Cart.  Meaning families do not pick and choose what events or seasons they will participate in and/or pay for.  We stress player development, and core to that development is the player's commitment to his team, teammates, and coaches.  We keep things as flexible as we can to accommodate other sports (and do want the kids playing other sports), but do ask for 3-season commitment.
