Registration Information

Registration is open from November 1st through February 15th. Registration questions should be sent to the SSYL Board.

Requirements for Registration:

  • All players must live within the Southridge High School (SHS) attendance boundary. Please click HERE to see if you live within the boundary area. Players living outside the SHS attendance boundary are encouraged to register with their local TVYLL member club, see www.tvlax.com. Players living outside the SHS boundary that want to play on a SSYL team will need to go through a waiver process.
  • All players must have a valid Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District (THPRD) Number to participate. See below for instructions to obtain this.
  • All players, grades K-8, must have a current US Lacrosse membership to participate. This provides insurance coverage. See below for instructions to purchase this membership.

Tualatin Hills Parks and Recreation Department (THPRD) ID Number
A valid THPRD ID number is mandatory to register for SSYL. During the registration process, you will be required to enter your THPRD ID number. If you live outside of the THPRD District Boundary, you will need to contact THPRD prior to registering and pay an assessment fee ($TBD quarterly for Spring 2019) to get a THPRD ID number. For information regarding "out of district" fees, click HERE
. For THPRD contact information click HERE. To see if your address is within THPRD boundaries click HERE.

US Lacrosse Membership
ALL SSYL participants, grades K-8, are required to be members of US Lacrosse. The US Lacrosse yearly membership fee is $30 for youth players. You will be required to enter your valid US Lacrosse membership number during the registration process. The website will automatically try to validate your membership number. If you do not have a US Lacrosse membership or your membership expires before the end of the lacrosse season, the website will require you to purchase or renew your membership during registration. You may also go to www.uslacrosse.org and sign up for a membership before you register.
